Not really a hike, but a beautiful park
The paved loop around Roosevelt is .33 miles, meaning (for me) it's more of a casual dog walk. The rose garden at the west end is spectacular in summer, and the winter lights make for a beautiful evening stroll. Yes, there are lots of dogs, lots of kids, and sometimes lots of both playing in the grassy lawn in the middle.
