  Excellent beach!

  Echoing what has already been said, this is an excellent beach and a great place for dogs to run and swim. Off-leash. It is clean and well-signed. If you park in the main lot, it is a short two-block walk along the path to get to the dog area. Alternatively, you could park on the street two blocks north at Michigan and Miami, and the dog beach is right there. (No camper or RV parking on the street.)

  Best place around sleeping bear dunes to take the whole family including the dog!

  I enjoyed my time on the beach with my dog while the kids shopped and ate ! I brought my own sandwich and ate it on the beach!

  Frankfort Public Beach and Playground

  Frankfort Beach is a beautifully maintained beach. There are beautiful, natural dunes, and wide paved walkways to make make it easy to get to the waterfront. The dog area is a short easy distance from the paved walkway. There are cleanup bags available and clear signage directing dog owners to their area. Make sure you visit for at least one sunset!
