Bethany Reservoir State Recreation Area

Dogs are welcome at Bethany Reservoir State Recreation Area in Livermore, CA, where fishing and windsurfing are popular activities. If Fido isn't much for standing on a board, they don't have to be bored because you can wander the pet-friendly trails around the reservoir together, as long as your pup is leashed. Dogs may be allowed to take a dip in the water, but it's worth calling ahead first to double check and to find out the opening times on the specific day you'd like to visit. Visit Website
