Calaveras Big Trees State Park

Calaveras Big Trees State Park is a dog-friendly destination in Arnold, CA. Although pups are not allowed on the designated trails or in the woods, there are several miles of fire roads that are pet friendly. Fido can also join you in developed areas like picnic sites, campgrounds and paved roads. While someone stays with your pup at the campground, make sure you check out the "Discovery Tree," also known as the "Big Stump," the first Sierra redwood noted by Augustus T. Dowd in 1852. Calaveras Beaver Creek

what a great and fun time for our family with our pup Penelope. enter the park for a small fee but my dog was free, we drove all the way to almost the end of the road to find Beaver Creek were we played in the Sun and water all day. Such a great way to spend our hot summer day.
