D. L. Bliss State Park
Some portions of D. L. Bliss State Park in South Lake Tahoe, CA, are dog friendly. Fido is welcome in developed areas only, which include campsites, paved roads and paths, dirt fire roads, developed picnic areas, and day-use areas. Dogs aren't permitted on beaches or dirt trails. Located around South Lake Tahoe, revellers come from all around to enjoy the crystal waters in the summer months and the snow peaked mountains during winter. Remember, you must keep Fido on a leash under six feet for the duration of your stay at the park.

The website states dogs are not allowed on the beach, only the camp grounds - and the camp grounds are sadly closed due to the pandemic. wonderful place to try if you can though.
