Fort Ross State Historic Park
Dogs are welcome at the main parking area and the paved walkways at Fort Ross State Historic Park. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted inside any of the buildings on the site. This historic park is there to remember the varied past of the area, including the long formation of the coast, the Kashia Pomo people who have lived here for centuries, the era of Russian colonization, and the Ranch era. The park buildings are open from 10:00am to 4:30pm, but the dog-friendly areas outside are open from sunrise to sunset.
