George J. Hatfield State Recreation Area
George J. Hatfield State Recreation Area is a dog-friendly state park in Hilmar, CA. Located in the San Joaquin valley and surrounded by the Merced River, the park is home to a variety of trees, and various wildlife, especially birds. Visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, and picnicking in the area. Dogs are permitted in the campground.

Quiet place to walk the dogs. The park map online seems outdated because some of the trail doesnt exist anymore.
