    Beautiful but dogs on leash

We were very excited to check out this park. Turns out there is no off leash portion for dogs. Gorgeous walks. Our "birding dog" did go crazy with all the wildlife so cut our hike short

    Beautiful Scenery

Dogs have to be on leash here. The break was Lovely but kind of hard to walk on because the sand squishes down a lot. We walked for a while and then turn back and took the boardwalk late. It has a number of places to stop and look out on the ocean. The boardwalk is dog friendly. You can also go down to the tide pools from the Lookout. We saw Harbor seals and she and enemies. The water was clear and you could see through to the sand on the bottom by the shore. Our pup was happy to take in all the smells along the boardwalk. The boardwalk loop is not too long. Maybe a mile. Nice and easy walking.
