Mendocino Headlands State Park

Mendocino Headlands State Park in Mendocino, CA, is one of the most pet-friendly parks in the area. Unlike most state parks in California, Fido can join you on most of the dirt trails that surround the town of Mendocino. Many of the casual trails will lead you to stunning views of swooping cliffs. There's even a short dog-friendly path to Portuguese Beach, which allows pooches on a leash onto the sand. If you continue along from the beach, you'll find a blow hole and lots more beautiful coastal scenery. Mendocino Headlands is open during the day. Visit Website

Or call (707) 937-5804 or email media@parks.ca.gov for more information.
