Mount Diablo State Park
Dogs are allowed at pet-friendly Mount Diablo State Park, where Fido can join you at the campsites and built up areas, including the picturesque picnic areas. Located in Walnut Creek, CA, Mount Diablo is known for the observation deck that overlooks the valleys and forests below. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on any of the trails or fire roads at the park. Mount Diablo State Park is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset.
