Palomar Mountain State Park welcomes pets on paved roads and campgrounds, but are not permitted to run at large and must be in tents or vehicles during nighttime hours. Although dogs are prohibited on all of the trails in the park, you can take Fido on a leash under six feet on the trail around Doane Pond and Myers Fire Road.
