Plumas-Eureka State Park

Plumas-Eureka State Park is a pet-friendly area in Blairsden-Graeagle, CA. Although the focal point of this park is the museum building and historic area surrounding it, Fido is only allowed on the fire roads and not inside the building. However, you can enjoy the dog-friendly Grass Lake Trail, a 3.8-mile hike that follows along a number of impressive lakes in the area. You can find the start of this trail at the Jamison mine. Beautiful wilderness
what a great suggestion… Not sure if I was on the right hike but it was gorgeous up there and I enjoyed every minute of it. As a side benefit I did not run into any other humans about a quarter mile in or less!!
