    Samuel P. Taylor State Park

    Dogs are welcome at certain areas of Samuel P. Taylor State Park. Cross Marin Trail bike path is the only dog-friendly trail at this state park. It runs along Lagunitas Creek about three miles through the park, following the old North Pacific Coast Railroad right-of-way into the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. You can also camp among the redwoods at some of the campgrounds in the area. Samuel P. Taylor State Park is open every day of the week from 8am to sunset. Visit Website
