Allowed inside!
I finally to got to go into a shop while vacationing. The Vermont Country Store allows dogs inside. It was only a little busy during the week, but I took a toy with us to keep our pooch distracted. A couple of employees came and greeted our dog and remembered his name when they saw him later. There's a big parking lot in the back, with trees and a picnic table, which we used. You can also eat at the adjacent Mildred’s Dairy Bar. Hot food available outside from the walk-up takeout window off the same parking lot and eat at a picnic table under a large tent.
