    B.J. Reece Orchards

    Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome in the orchards at B.J. Reece Orchards, a pet-friendly, family-owned and operated orchard located in the mountains of Ellijay, GA. You can enjoy picking your own apples, peaches, nectarines, pears and season vegetables. Pups are even welcome on the wagon rides, but will need to stay outside of the country bakery, apple house and petting farm. The opening times for the U-pick orchards vary year to year, but the orchard is generally open between July and December. It is recommended that you call ahead to double check opening times before your visit. Please remember to clean up after your pup. Visit Website

      Very dog friendly

      Beautiful orchard, great fun for our dogs, and they even got to go in the petting zoo (as long as they don’t bark at the animals, are calm and on leash). Very sweet employee at the orchard/zoo side paid lots of attention to our dogs and remembered their names as we came back out. We went on a Monday so no hayride (weekends only), but it wasn’t a bad walk

      Enjoyable day

      Brought the dogs on the wagon ride to the orchard. Beautiful scenery, watched pig races, and doggies enjoyed themselves

      Such Fun

      We took our Great Dane and Mastiff over the weekend. They were so accommodating. They were allowed everywhere except the apple house and petting farm. They even got to ride in the wagon.

      Our dog loved being at BJ Reece!!

      She sat under the picnic table and happily ate food that dropped. A rare occurrence since she never gets table scraps

      Very dog friendly!

      We took our pug here last year and intend to go back this year. They are very dog friendly and even let our guy ride on the wagon ride, which he loved!!!!
