The park is made up of vast open prairies that create a canvas for a stunningly huge blue sky during the day and a twinkling masterpiece at night, ideal for stargazers. The 70 Mile Butte is the highest point in the park that gives you a great view of the whole park. The best time for you and Fido to check it out is early in the morning or near dusk for sunrise and sunset. Grasslands National Park is open every day of the week from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
