House Mountain State Natural Area

House Mountain State Natural Area is dog friendly and occupies 525 acres of land in Corryton, TN. Designated in 1987, the park is known for huge sandstone boulders and views from the twin peaks of House Mountain itself. The Great Smoky Mountains and the upper Unaka Range can be seen on a clear day. Leashed dogs are welcome on designated trails. Visit Website

    Short Distance, Steep Hike

    This hike is shorter in distance, yet is steep and quick to elevate. Path is well kept, easy to follow, and can be rocky at times. Bring water with you!
