Rocky Neck State Park

Rocky Neck State Park is pet-friendly. Feel free to go on a hike with Fido or eat some lunch in the picnic areas north of the train tracks. Rocky Neck State Park has a tidal river that is home to a variety of different types of fish. You'll also spot herons, cranes, and lots of other wildlife in the air and on the ground around the park too. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in campgrounds, south of the train tracks, on the beach, or on the boardwalk. The park is open every day of the week from 8am until sunset. Visit Website

    NOT VERY DOG FRIENDLY!!!!

so after reading reviews on BringFido & Google I decided to take a trip. while they allow dogs in they basically aren’t allowed anywhere in the park. would not recommend for doggos, at least during the summer… maybe it’s better during the non-summer months….

    Amazing Winter Walk

Decided to visit on a Sunday in February on a whim as I was nearby. It did not disappoint- absolutely stunning! Will definitely be returning.
