Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation

Dogs on leashes under six feet are welcome at pet-friendly Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation in Brunswick, GA. This former rice plantation is home to nature trails and a section of Georgia's Colonial Coast Birding Trail where you can spot over 300 different species of bird. Fido is welcome to join you on both of these, but isn't permitted inside any of the historic buildings at the state park. Visit Website

Really neat but attacked by flies
We went early to avoid the hot day and crowds, maybe that was the mistake. We prepared with bug spray but the flies were so terrible we couldn’t stay. Swarming around us and biting the dogs. Got in the car and still had flies attached to the dogs and we are country folks. Definitely recommend visiting outside of summer months.
