300 acres of off leash fun

We stumbled upon Eagle Island State Park on a warm summer day, looking for a place to run the dogs around and get in the water. while the park has recently updated their off/leash rules in May of 2022 ( https://parksandrecreation.idaho.gov/parks/eagle-island-state-park-new-dogs-on-leash-policy/ ), we found plenty of room away from the main swimming area to get the dogs down to a swimming hole. Dogs are allowed on-leash around most of the rest of the park, but they are NOT allowed to swim at the main swimming area (understandable, given the number of people swimming there). Highly recommend researching the place before showing up
