Dogs are welcome at James Pate Philip State Park in Bartlett, IL, a 501-acre park made up of prairies and wetlands. Dogs and their owners are only allowed to wander the pet-friendly trail that loops around the park. This popular trail can be used by bikers and dog walkers alike, so be careful for people on two-wheels. Fido must be on a leash under ten feet when on the trail. The park is open every day of the week from one hour after sunrise to one hour after sunset.
