McCormick's Creek State Park

Dogs are welcome to join their owners at McCormick's Creek State Park. The park is made up of a limestone canyon, featuring a flowing creek at the center with scenic waterfalls plunging over rocks. The park is steeped in history and you'll discover a historic Statehouse Quarry near White River. There are ten different pet-friendly trails dotted around the park that vary in length and difficulty, including a trail through Wolf Cave Nature Preserve that features forest trees, spicebush, and native wildflowers. You can bring Fido with you on all of the trails if they are on a leash under six feet. Visit Website

lots of creeks to walk through, even a deeper spot by the falls for the dogs to swim. it’s beautiful. many trails and places to rest. the only reason I don’t give 5 is entry to the falls is pretty rough, but definitely possible. we will be back!
