Versailles State Park

Dogs are welcome at Versailles State Park, where you and Fido can take a drive or hike through the beautiful rolling hills at Indiana’s second-largest state park. Popular among anglers and recreational boat users alike, the park is home to a 230-acre lake. There's an easy, dog-friendly trail and two moderate trails that all take in the beauty of the area. One of them leads to Oak Grove Picnic Area, a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat and feed Fido a treat. There are a number of dog-based events held at around the park throughout the year, so keep an eye out for splash days in the pool and other fun activities. The park is open daily.
