Breaks Interstate Park
Located in Breaks, VA is the pet-friendly Breaks Interstate Park. Over millions of years, the stunning gorges and views that we now see were carved into the rock by the Russell Fork. The waterways are surrounded by stunning forests of fern and a variety of other trees that give the area an array of colors during fall. Fido is welcome to join you on a leash under six feet in length on the many trails around the park, including the Laurel Branch Trail that weaves through hardwood forests from Laurel Lake to Grassy Creek and Prospector's Trail that will take you around the cliffs of the area. Please clean up after your pet.

Make sure you keep your dog close. My 7lb Chihuahua enjoyed rides in my backpack. The nice outdoor patio with full service restaurant is dog friendly.
