Fairview-Riverside State Park

Dogs are welcome to join their owners at pet-friendly Fairview-Riverside State Park in Madisonville, LA. As you enter the park, you'll notice Otis House near the entrance. This historic building constructed in the 1880s was donated to the State of Louisiana in 1962 and can now be toured, although dogs are not allowed inside. You and Fido can wander on the nature trail that will lead you through a canopy of huge, old oak trees alongside the river. Pet owners are reminded to keep their pooches on a leash for the duration of their visit and to clean up any mess after them. Visit Website
