  Love prospect Park!

  The off-leash hours @ Prospect Park are great!
  I take my dog on leashed and off leashed walks here and it's perfect to exercise her for a good hour. We normally play frisbee and there's plenty of room for her and all the other dogs to run.

  I give this four bones only as a great place in a small town to walk your dog .6 mile trail only paved lotta nice grass this golf course swimming pool camping sites large area that kids play football on for the dog to run supposed to be on leash at all times but after being in the car all dayI took him off and let him run and didn’t have a problem nobody said anything very quiet area west end of town by plastic factory 8th Ave., Place something and Highway 30 turn onto Highway 30 take first right turn go about a country block and it’s on your leftDirections might not be perfect but it’ll get you really close sorry

  Visiting from the Midwest, where dog parks there are similar in color, we were very impressed. Our dogs are not used to being off leash in an unfenced area, so we were nervous. They did great, there are SO many dogs there before 9am when they’re all allowed to be off leash. Loved the pond too.

  We consider ourselves very lucky to live by Prospect Park. So our lab gets her off-leash exercise every morning. She also loves to take a swim at the lake (especially during the hot summer days). And they got doggy beach/pond as well.

  So many dogs come here and it is so easy to socialize your dog here.

  Park is absolutely beautiful! So much space for your dog to run around. So many fields. A pond to swim in...Oh man! This place is orgasmic! Best address for entrance...95 Prospect Park W..walk up the driveway that is mostly filled with Parks Dept cars. You'll find your way from there.

  Excellent park

  Excellent park, although would be even better if time was extended to 10am on weekends! Especially is the off season (winter) when the fields are not being used by sports teams or sunbathers. Also, winter is the time of year when no one gets out enough - especially the dogs. Why not allow and extra hour from November - April?

  My husband and I take out dog every sunday morning to prospect park. other dogs are friendly, clean park and its huge. there is a lake the dogs can swim around in. your dog will love it...mine does. you will be happy you did!

  My dog has such a good time here and so does my family. It is a joy to watch him play with the other dogs.
