Aroostook State Park
Aroostook State Park is a dog-friendly area in Presque Isle, ME. Bring Fido along to Maine's first state park where you'll discover the natural beauty of Quaggy Jo Mountain and Echo Lake. The 898-acre park is an homage to everything that the state has to offer; boaters can enjoy the crystal waters of the lake, hikers can enjoy the three main hiking trails, and visitors can relax at one of the stunning picnic areas. The QuaQuaJo Nature Trail will take you on a tour of the local wildlife and forest adjacent to the lake; the South Peak Trail is a more challenging trail that goes up steep inclines; and the Ridge Trail ascends up to a lovely vantage point across the water.
