Holbrook Island Sanctuary
Dogs are welcome to join their owners at Holbrook Island Sanctuary in Harborside, ME. This pet-friendly nature preserve is located along Penobscot Bay and is made up of forest and meadows, wetland marshes, ponds, rocky mainland, and the off-land island, Holbrook itself. There are a number of trails around the park that are perfect for dog walkers! Visitors are reminded that pets are not allowed on State Park beaches between April 1 and September 30 throughout Maine.
