Vaughn Woods State Park

Dogs are allowed to join their owners on the trails at Vaughn Woods State Park. This pet-friendly public recreation area is a 165-acre forested tract along the banks of Salmon Falls River. There are three miles of hiking trails that loop through old-growth stands of pine and hemlock that can be used by dogs and their owners. You can stop en route for a bite to eat in the shade of the tall trees at one of the picnic areas. People bringing their pets with them should remember to keep them on a leash and clean up any mess they make. Vaughan Woods State Park is open every day of the week from 9am until sunset. Nice Trails

This is a great place to bring your dog on well-maintained trails! The paths are easy to follow and there are different routes you can take. I highly recommend the River Run trail into Bridle Path trail.
