    Great Spot

We enjoyed the state park. It has a nice scenic walk down to the beach. They have a leash law, which I am 100% for. Just wish that other people respected it. Ran into people in the trail not using a leash and then some idiots on the beach were letting their dogs run free. My dog doesn’t much care for other dogs in her space and we almost had issues with the dogs and with me and the owners. Would have been 100% avoidable if the people observed and respected the park rules.

    Awesome Park!

My two corgis and I took the red trail to the beach and it was amazing. This trail is 1.8 miles one way and ends in a small beach where you can look for fossils. My dogs loves the trail, even though they had to remain on the leash the entire time. The property is very well maintained and the paths are clearly marked. There are other trails available with various hiking difficulties. $5 donation per car at the gate. Highly recommend!
