Dogs only allowed during certain times of the year.

I love the park, but for dog friendliness they only get 1/5 treat. Please check their website to see if dogs are allowed at that time before driving there with your dog. Dogs are currently not allowed during summer months.

    Horrible Experience

The staff are beyond creepy and made my husband and I incredibly uncomfortable. If you want to have a nice afternoon or evening, do not come here. The rangers and staff are incredibly rude and condescending. Very sad. :(

    Great Park But

The information is incorrect about dogs being allowed in day use and in the lake. They are admitted before Memorial Day weekend and after Labor Day weekend. They are allowed in Cedar and Dogwood camp loops and hiking trails all year.
