New Germany State Park

New Germany State Park is a dog-friendly destination sandwiched between Big Savage Mountain and Meadow Mountain in Grantsville, MD. Enjoy diverse forests, a small lake and ten miles of multi-use trails to explore. Pets are welcome in Hemlock camp loop, some of the cabins, the day-use area, and on the lake, but not on groomed trails during cross-country ski season and on the sandy beach portion of the swimming beach.
