Newtowne Neck State Park
Dogs are welcome at the pet-friendly Newtowne Neck State Park on the banks of Breton Bay, St. Clements Bay and the Potomac River in Leonardtown, MD. This constantly changing and evolving park on a 794-acre peninsula is popular among wildlife lovers due to the diverse habitat it provides. You can explore the natural environment while hiking through the relatively undeveloped park with Fido. Dog owners are reminded to bring a leash for their pup and to clean up any mess they make.
