Smallwood State Park
Dogs are welcome at Smallwood State Park in Maryland. Once the home of General William Smallwood, a hero in the revolutionary war, the house on the property has been restored to its former glory of 1785. Fido can join you on the trails around the day-use sections of the park and in the campgrounds, as long as they are on a leash and you clean up any mess that they make after them. Smallwood State Park is open from 5am to sunset from April to October and from 7am to sunset from November to March. Visit Website
