South Mountain State Park

This 40-mile long multi-use state park weaves through the South Mountain ridge from the Pennsylvania state line to the Potomac River. You are invited to bring your pooch with you to check out the stunning views from overlooks littered around the trails in the park. A popular trail for day hikers and their four-legged companions is Annapolis Rock via Appalachian Trail.
