Great Brook Farm State Park

Great Brook Farm State Park is pet-friendly. You and Fido can explore the 20 miles of trails together, many of which will take you on a tour of some important historical sites of the Native Americans who once called this area home. As you're wandering the park, you may also run across 17th-century cellar holes that have been leftover by English settlers. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on a leash under six feet, as long as owners clean up all mess after them. Great Brook Farm State Park is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset. My Favorite Place For Off Leash

I have been bringing my pups here for 3 years. So many trails and where I trained one of them off leash. Just make sure if you’re going off leash your pup listens to your commands well, there’s ponds, road crossings, farm animals, horses, bikers, etc!

    Great place for dogs...

This is one of my favorite places to walk my GSD Mia off leash. There are so many trails, it is hard to do the same walk twice. During the off season, you have to be cognizant that there is a cross country ski program, and while it is active, they don't allow dogs. In the summer, parking costs $3 or $4. Still, a wonderful place for a walk with your best friend!
