Maudslay State Park

Maudslay State Park is a beautiful pet-friendly area in Newburyport, Massachusetts. This pretty park is perfect for spending a summer's day walking and exploring with Fido. The area is home to 19th century gardens, plants, rolling meadows, towering pines, and one of the largest naturally-occurring stands of mountain laurel in Massachusetts. When the plants are in bloom, the gardens offer a stunning array of colors that have to be seen to be believed. Dogs are welcome to join their owners around the park on a leash, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them. Maudslay State Park is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset. Huge Trail Selection

Maudslay offers a variety of trails that wind through wooded and cleared areas. There is also a portion of the park that offers beautiful views of the Merrimack River. It is a perfect place to walk your dog, and even let them run free for a bit (in the quieter sections).
