Sand Bay County Park
Sand Bay County Park is a pet-friendly recreation area on the shores of the Charleston Lake. The forest at the park is made up of towering white pine, hemlock, eastern white cedar, sugar maple, and red and white oak trees. You can explore the diverse forest on one of the trails that loop through the area. This day-use park is mainly used for picnicking and swimming, home to a large picnic pavilion, picnic tables, BBQ stands, and benches to take a break at.
