Buccaneer State Park
Buccaneer State Park in Waveland, MS, is pet friendly. In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated this area, destroying nearly 8,000 trees. Although damage was done to the park, it's still a stunning place to take your pup for the day. You and Fido can jump on the 1.8-mile self-guided trail that weaves through the woods and takes you on a tour of the indigenous plants of the state.
