Milltown State Park

Milltown State Park is a dog-friendly recreation area in Missoula, MT. The overlook down to the Clark Fork River floodplain is the main attraction of this park, which can be accessed on the 1.5-miles of hiking trails. There are a number of other hiking trails that weave around this park, taking in views of the confluence of the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers. You and Fido will discover 500 acres of terrain in total, ranging from restored river bottoms to a pine forested bluff. Dogs are welcome on a leash, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them.
