Missouri Headwaters State Park in Three Forks, MT, is pet friendly. This park is where the Jefferson, Madison, and Gallatin rivers converge to start the 2,300 mile long, Missouri River. The dog-friendly foot trails around the park lead to a number of overlooks and points of interest. Make sure you pack a picnic to enjoy at one of the scenic picnic spots dotted around. Dogs are welcome to explore the park with their owners, as long as they are on a leash and all mess is cleaned up after them.
