Pictograph Cave State Park

Dog-friendly Pictograph Cave State Park in Billings, MT provides a great spot for pets and their owners to hang out. The oldest rock art in the cave is over 2,000 years old. The Pictograph, Middle, and Ghost caves at the park were home to prehistoric hunters and thousands of artifacts have been excavated over the years. Dogs and their owners can explore the trail that leads to the park, and imagine those that have walked there over the years. Pets must be on a leash and all mess cleaned up after them. Visit Website

    Awesome Trails!

Fun outing with our pups. Nice trails with shade. Too bad the family with two huskies felt they were too good to pick up after their dogs! Beautiful shaded picnic area!

My dogs loved the hike & all the smells!! They even “helped” us climb some of the steeper trails! Nice park!
