Salmon Lake State Park
Dogs are welcome to join their owners at Salmon Lake State Park in Seeley Lake, MT, where you'll discover a pretty body of water on the chain of lakes on the Clearwater River. Anglers who cast out into the water and may pull up a number of different fish, including rainbow, cutthroat, brown, brook and bull trout, largemouth bass, white mountain whitefish, kokanee salmon, yellow perch, and northern pike. Birdwatchers also like to come to the park and check out the variety of species that call the area their home. There are a number of pet-friendly hiking trails that weave around the park and plenty of spots to stop for a picnic along the way. Dogs must be on a leash for the duration of their visit, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them.
