Great Location!
We love bringing our dogs to Shawme because there are a ton of other great things to do with your dogs in the area as well including dog-friendly beaches, trails, and even restaurants!

Dogs off leash
I would have given this 5 bones except for the dog owners who walk through with their disobedient dogs off leash. It's a well-known fact among dog experts that a dog that doesn't obey commands from its owner SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON A LEASH. The enjoyment of the beautiful trails in this forest has been spoiled by the disrespect shown by a few dog owners. Not all dogs get along.
