Beaver Dam State Park
Dogs are allowed at Beaver Dam State Park in Caliente, Nevada. This area is teeming with varied wildlife that occupy the streams and waterfalls, pinyon, juniper and ponderosa forests, and trek over volcanic and sedimentary rocks around the park. Stride with your pup on the Overlook Trail, leading to a 360-degree panorama of the canyon; relax on the easy Oak Knoll Trail that leads to great fishing spots; or jump on the Waterfall Trail, which is lined with abundant streams, warm springs, and waterfalls. Dogs must be on a leash under six feet long during their visit to the park and all mess should be cleaned up after them.
