Fort Churchill State Historic Park
Fort Churchill State Historic Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Silver Springs, NV. This historic site was once an active U.S. Army fort, built in 1861 to protect early settlers. Hiking the area trails, picnicking, camping and hunting are all popular activities here. Dogs are welcome on a six foot or shorter leash, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them. The fee for entry into the park is listed on their website.
