Lanikai Pillboxes Hike

Lanikai Pillboxes Hike, also known as Kaiwa Ridge Trail, is a popular pet-friendly hike in Kailua, Hawaii. This pretty hike winds around the coastal paths, offering dogs and their owners stunning views of Mokulua Islands, Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach along the way. The hike itself will take you between an hour and 90 minutes, but you can stop along the way at other historic pillboxes too. Visit Website

Beautiful for humans
this hike was break taking literally. our pup was a champ and push through but he was super exhausted from the humidity. also, if you do take your dog on this adventure make sure they wear shoes because the rocks are no joke
