    Amazing view

Great place for a short walk. There is a boardwalk that has an unpaved trail that runs right next to it. There are stairs along the boardwalk every so often so you can get on and off the boardwalk if you want. It is about 0.3 miles and ends with an incredible overlook. We went in January and we're the only people there. The camp store even had free coffee and is dog friendly.

    Easy Walk For Older Dogs

The whole Cheaha State Park is a great place to visit with your pup, but the boardwalk is especially nice for older pets who aren’t able to handle the rigors of the mountain trails.
