    Well-behaved leashed dogs are allowed to join their owners in the outdoor areas and on the picnic tables at Avila Valley Barn in San Luis Obispo, CA. This popular spot is a great place to stop and buy fresh produce, including delicious fruit and vegetables that are grown locally. You and your pooch can pick up a pie or bakery treat to enjoy on the picnic tables, or grab an ice cream on the way to Avila Beach. There are hayrides, farm pets and you can even pick your own fruit.       Nice place to take a break and walk

      We stopped here during a recent trip to the area. There isn’t much to see and visit. Pets are allowed to walk the orchards and the exterior of the onsite businesses. We weren’t able to walk a lot in the orchards due to the recent inclement weather. Fun little excursion.

      Avila Barn

      Love this place. There are goats and you buy food to feed them. There are cows, llamas, chickens and more. A great “fruit stand”, bakery, roasted corn and a bbq place, all right there. Plenty of places for your doggies to join you and the weather is usually perfect.

      Not much there

      Not a lot to see or do there. It has a nice small fruit
