    Canyon Run Dog Park

    Dogs can run and play off-leash in Canyon Run Dog Park at Mackenzie Park in Lubbock, TX. Amenities of this recreation space include a 2.64-acre large dog area for pups 30 lbs and over and a 1.02-acre small dog area for pups under 30 lbs. Access the park through the double-gated entry. Inside you'll find sidewalks, a restroom, covered benches for hot days, shade trees, and water fountains for your pup to stay hydrated. The park is closed on Mondays from 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM for maintenance. Visit Website

      Great Find!

      We were traveling through Lubbock on the way to Colorado & needed to stop to let our dog run. We found this park on Bring Fido, but we had a heck of a time locating it. Apparently there are two places with the same address on Ave B, and Google took us to an intersection in South Lubbock. Very frustrating. So I went back to the map & found the park area just off IH 27. That’s where the dog park is, next to the amusement park. Anyway, our dog loved it. It was large & grassy & had some nice trees. I’m very glad we stopped.

      Great Dog Park

      First time with 80lb, 8 month old puppy. All owners very aware of their dogs behavior.

      Excellent Dog Park!

      wide open spaces .... benches underneath shade trees... and not overly crowded!

      No Park

      Using the directions provided by bringfido we visited this park while in Lubbock Texas. When we got to the address there was no Park. We drove around a couple of blocks and either direction and found no park at this location.
